Graphic Designer

We are looking for a graphic designer for our Communications, Engagement and Projects team at our Belmont office.

This is a casual role for 12 months with the possibility of extension, working one day a week from the Belmont office, preferably a Wednesday.  Office hours are from 9am to 5.06pm. Additional hours may be required from time to time, which can be worked either from the Belmont office or remotely.

Salary: SCHADS Award casual level 3.1 ($45.00) to level 3.4 ($48.25) per hour depending on experience, plus super.  Option to salary package up to $15,990pa reducing taxable income.

The position is responsible for providing graphic design, videography and photography support to the Communications, Engagement & Projects Manager.

It includes designing content and editing images and videos for a range of communications collateral including brochures, flyers, event invitations, posters, social media, the Intranet, and the Umbrella website.

It requires at least two years’ experience using design software such as Adobe InDesign, Premier Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Hootsuite, WordPress, Meta Business Suite and Canva.

The ideal candidates will possess the following skills and attributes:


    • Qualification in graphic design and a minimum of two years’ experience.
    • Experience working with software such as WordPress, Canva, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Premier Pro and Photoshop.
    • Experience in photography and video production.
    • Strong attention to detail, excellent time management and organisational skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
    • Willingness to work additional hours from time to time if required.


    • Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
    • Knowledge of diversity, access and equity issues for CaLD and LGBTIQ+ seniors.
    • Current driver’s licence.
