Gardening and Maintenance Support Worker

We are looking for a Level 2 Gardening and Maintenance Support Worker in the broader Perth metro area from Bull Creek in the north, to Erskine in the south and inland to Treeby.

This is a permanent, part-time position with flexible work hours and the option to salary package up to $15,990, reducing your taxable income.

The hourly rate is $33.84 and mileage will be compensated at the approved rate.

You will be responsible for gardening and basic home maintenance for our clients in several suburbs across the metro area. Duties will vary depending on client requirements and may include mowing, weeding, pruning and home maintenance tasks such as painting and carpentry. You will also be required to liaise with the clients and advise us of any wellbeing concerns.

You will possess the following skills and attributes:

A First Aid certificate
Manual Handling
Satisfactory National Police Clearance (obtained in the past 6 months or willingness to obtain)
Current driver’s licence
Reliable, registered and insured vehicle
Physical ability to undertake gardening and maintenance work
Good level of written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of diversity, access, and equity issues for culturally and linguistically diverse and LGBTIQ+ seniors (preferred)
Preparedness to work within Aged Care Quality Standards and undertake online training.
