Aged care for all under one umbrella

Umbrella Multicultural Community Care Services Inc. is funded by the Australian Government to deliver home care services to seniors across the Perth metro area. Our innovation in the delivery of high-quality services to seniors from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds has resulted in us receiving several state and national awards over the years.

In October 2023, Umbrella became a signatory to the joint statement on the rights of LGBTIQ+ seniors in aged care, developed by LGBTIQ+ Health Australia and service providers across Australia.

Read the joint statement here:

We are also funded by the Australian Government to deliver the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme and the care finder program across the Perth metro and Peel regions.

An annual global celebration takes place on 18 July, the birthday of the late Nelson Mandela.

This day is a call to action for individuals, communities, and organisations to take time to reflect on Mandela's values and principles and to make a positive impact in their own communities.

After 27 years in prison, Nelson Mandela was freed in 1990 and negotiated to end apartheid in South Africa.

We are deeply inspired by Mandela's legacy. We are dedicated to ensuring that every older Australian, no matter their cultural, linguistic or gender identity, can enjoy their golden years and be treated with dignity and respect.

Client stories

My Mum was so overjoyed and very impressed with the special outing from Seniors Club Cracovia. She hasn’t stopped telling me stories about all the wonderful activities she was able to experience at the Elizabeth Quays opening night. On that day, Perth came to life for my Mum. She will never forget this experience. Thank you for caring for my Mum and all the seniors.
