Are you passionate about supporting seniors and helping reduce loneliness in your community? Join Umbrella Community Care as a volunteer visitor through the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), funded by the Australian Government.<\/p>\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n <\/div>\r\n

What’s<\/span> required?<\/span><\/h2>\n

As a volunteer, you\u2019ll commit to just one hour every fortnight to provide companionship and social support to seniors from multilingual, multicultural, multifaith, and LGBTIQA+ backgrounds who are at risk of social isolation. You will be carefully matched with someone in your local area whose language, culture, or interests align with yours, making your visits even more meaningful.<\/p>\n

Your regular visits can significantly improve their wellbeing, boost self-esteem, and help seniors feel connected and valued.<\/p>\n

Volunteering with ACVVS is a rewarding way to give back, develop meaningful relationships, and make a positive impact in the Perth metropolitan and Peel regions. Training and ongoing support are provided to help you make the most of your volunteer experience.<\/p>\n
