What is EnCOMPASS?

EnCOMPASS: Multicultural Aged Care Connector is a partnership between FECCA and community organisations like Umbrella Community Care to provide navigational, one-on-one support to older people of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CaLD) backgrounds.

Umbrella’s EnCOMPASS Connectors can:

  • provide older Australians individual support in-person or over the phone.
  • help access accurate and independent information on how to access aged care supports.
  • provide older Australians with language support and relevant information in their preferred language.

Who can access EnCOMPASS Connectors?

EnCOMPASS is a completely FREE program available to people aged 65 years and older from non-English speak backgrounds, their carers and their families.

Did you know Umbrella has resources on the aged care sector available in other languages?
