What should I submit when applying?

When applying for any of these positions, please submit your resume and a cover letter addressing the selection criteria found in the position description.

What requirements do I need to meet?

For a support worker role you will need to have a minimum cert III qualification in Aged Care, current first aid certificate, NPC no older than 6 months, Current Drivers Licence and registered vehicle, Certificate from RTO in medication assistance and providing personal care assistance.

Where do I work?

As a home care support worker, you will work in the clients homes or take the client shopping.

What Qualifications do I need?

A Minimum of Cert III in aged Care, including medication assist, first aid, manual handling and food safety.

Do I need to have unrestricted working rights?

Yes, we are looking for Aus/ NZ citizens and people with unrestricted working rights.

Do I need a car?

Yes you will need a road worthy vehicle, fully insured as you will be driving from client to client and you may be taking the client shopping.

What type of car insurance is required?

Comprehensive Insurance is preferred and you will need to advise your insurance company that you are using the car for work purposes. Third party insurance will only cover damage to another persons vehicle and property.

Do I need a WA drivers licence?

WA licence is preferred but we will look at valid overseas licences.

Can I work on P Plates?

Not if you are on RED P Plates.

Do I need a Police Clearance?

Yes and it cannot be older than 6 months.
