Aged Care System Navigator Trial

Culturally Inclusive Aged Care Navigation

As part of the national Aged Care System Navigator Trial, Umbrella Care played a vital role in helping older Australians, particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) backgrounds, understand, connect with, and access aged care services.

Funded by the Australian Government and led by COTA Australia, the trial tested new approaches to supporting people through the often complex aged care system. Umbrella Care’s contribution focused on ensuring that people who face language, cultural, and social barriers could receive clear, personalised, and culturally appropriate guidance to navigate My Aged Care and select services that met their unique needs.
