The Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) offers entry-level support to help older Australians stay independent, safe, and connected in their own homes and communities. It’s available to people aged 65 and over (or 50 and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people).
CHSP is often the first type of help the government provides either while you’re waiting for a Home Care Package or if a package isn’t currently available in your area.
The Commonwealth Home Support Program offers entry-level help to keep you living safely and independently at home.
